The 9th Guangzhou International Fisheries & Seafood Expo.

The annual output of aquatic products of our country is maintained above 65 million tons for many years. In 2021, China’s total output of aquatic products reached 66,902,900 tons, an increase of 2.16 percent over the previous year. The output of seawater products was 33.872,400 tons, up 2.20 percent year on year, and that of freshwater products was 33.030,500 tons, up 2.11 percent year on year. For two consecutive years, Guangdong has maintained the position of the first major fishery province in China, with the total output of aquatic products and aquaculture ranking first in China. It is estimated that by 2025, the total output value of Guangdong’s fishery economy will reach more than 450 billion yuan and the total output of aquatic products will remain above 9 million tons.

In order to earnestly study and implement the Party’s 20 Great Spirit, “accelerate the construction of a new development pattern with the domestic cycle as the main body and the domestic and international cycles mutually reinforcing.” The 9th China International (Guangzhou) Fisheries & Seafood Expo is scheduled to be held at China Import and Export (Canton Fair) Complex ·Guangzhou on September 15-17,2023. The exhibition will continue to combine online and offline integration, build a double-cycle bridge, and innovate a new exhibition development mode. It is expected to cover an exhibition area of 40,000 square meters, with 800 exhibitors and 6 million visitors.
