Shanghai United International School has been offering a global education to students from kindergarten to Secondary school, consistently aiming to deliver an ‘East meets West’ and student-oriented education, and carrying out its holistic education program to train students to be ‘whole persons’ with high values, 21st Century knowledge and skills, and harmonious development.

Shanghai United International School is a group of international schools in Shanghai, China. There are 7 campuses located in Shanghai as follows Jiaoke Campus, Hongqiao Campus, Shangyin Campus, Gubei Campus, Pudong Campus, Wanyuan Campus, and Qingpu Campus. Currently, these four schools have approximately 1,500 students.

Academics are based on the International Curriculum of England (ICE) and the IB Primary Years Programme(PYP), while local Chinese scholars are also available at the local stream. Besides these two main curriculums, the school also provides other international curriculums like the BC (British Columbia) program which is a Canadian program.

Shanghai United International School has also opened a campus in Wenzhou, Xiamen, and Wuxi.

Dear Students & Parents, our campus is located in the heart of the Gubei international community containing comprehensive teaching buildings, IT facilities, laboratories, a learning resource center, specialist art music & drama facilities,  parents reception room, an indoor gym, outdoor sports areas, medium and large conference rooms, and a modern cafeteria.

At SUIS, we are committed to providing high-quality multicultural, and holistic international education by integrating elements of both Eastern and Western education. We prepare our students to become internationally-minded, global citizens and, through a range of educational programmes, prepare the way for entry to the world’s best universities.

We offer a continuous English National Curriculum, IGCSE, and International Baccalaureate IB Diploma and Certificate. Our pupil numbers continue to rise due to increasing demand. We now have over 900 pupils on roll in the international stream and have a teaching staff of 60 western teachers and 20 Chinese teachers.
